On this trip Chris made his way along the legendary and difficult TAKOU route and befriended many STIKINE people of the TLINGIT nation of Alaska. These items were gifted to Chris from the Stikines and were displayed in his palatial home in Denver, Colorado. The photo by the noted Denver photographer C.L. McLURE which depicts Hennes souvenirs including the TLINGIT snowshoes and spears hanging on the wall of his "study". Snowshoes 47 1/2" x 10 1/2".
