Superb, untouched and original
Country Pembroke Drop Leaf Table in the BEST original red paint. The
table, having a wonderfully shaped top and unusual pierced cross
stretchers is signed in pencil on the drawer bottom : "A. L. Brooks,
Lowell, Mass." also signed in pencil "No. 18" on the underside of the
top. Initialed in chalk on the leaf support plate "ALB". Measures 36" in
length. Recently discovered in an attic of a home on the western New
Hampshire border. A RARE form in country furniture with an incredible
surface.

lower left. Measures 7 1/2" by 11 1/2" (sight). Likely original lemon
