An Early Hanover, Pennsylvania Tall Case Clock. The makers first name is readily legible but the last name is terribly faded. We have used every possible device (including digitally enhanced photography) to try to figure it out. The name appears to be: Jacob S????????  The case is in outstanding original condition and is of exquisite cabinetry. Having a beautifully formed ogee bracket base and being of handsome proportions, the Cherrywood case also retains an old and possibly original surfaceDiscovered  last week in an early Southern Maine home. Measures 98" tall.
